Hello everybody,

Here are some photos I made with this lens (Vega-3 is standart lens for Zenit 4-5-6). It's not a tessar (like Color-Scopar 50mm/2.8 from Bessamatic) but 5 lenses in 4 groups (see here ).

Adapted on Nex with DKL adapter + Helicoïde (because DKL mount has longer focal flange)

For me it doesn't look Planar like at all to me but except some CAs it looks like a pretty good performer with interesting characteristics.

Nice series!

Exactly, some shots in Lafayette, other in Printemps (just next to Lafayette). It's always a nice place for photos in Christmas period.

If you're interested in lens diagram :

from http://fotolyap.ru/?p=3560

I don't know from what lens it's the closest...
Have to say that it's quite cheap lens (got one for ~20-25 euros)

Looks very good, and the rendering is nice - almost like primoplan.

Very nicely done!

From the diagram , it is a biometar type lens.

I am curious how you can put it into the DKL adapter. The lens mount is a bit different than other DKL lens.

All "Vega" lenses(Vega-3, Vega-5U, Vega-7, Vega-9, Vega-12, Vega-28 etc) is "biometar-type".

Mount is physicaly the same. I'm using a simple DKL to M42 adapter with diaphragm ring control. The only problem is that focal flange is longer on those russian DKL.

nukemall, Thx for the info!

More shots with this lens, but mounted on Sony A7.
Some vignetting on non-croped photos, but due to the adapter (I use specific M42 flat adapter). With normal M42 adapter, no vigneting.
