Hello! This will be my customer support thread for my shutter tester ads in the new marketplace. At the moment I have 4 different types of testers and I will probably make more. It's fun! Very Happy

First one added to the new marketplace is the microchip one.

You can find a lot of info about shipping and some reviews. I will add those testers to the new marketplace too.


The shipping varies from country to country. Shipping rates list will be added later today.

A computer with a serial port is extremely hard to come by these days; do you know if this will work with a serial-to-USB connector?

I thought of this, too! I plan on making a USB one but I don't know when it will get done because I don't have much spare time. There are a lot of PC computers and motherboards with a serial port made today. People with Apple products or very thin/tiny notebooks will not have a serial port. Crying or Very sad

The USB one is on the "to do" list. However I don't know when it will get done.

I've made a LCD one too, but I don't have a CNC router and cutting that rectangular hole in the box is a pain in the butt and it looks ugly! I am still looking for a shop that can cut my boxes. Most of them don't want to do small batches of 10-20 pieces, though.

Try Florin with USB-serial converter it must be works, otherways hard to sell in my opinion too.
