Just the perfect sunny spring day today and all the world out in the park - and in between them some nerdy looking geek, schlepping some weird camera stuff around, kneeling on the ground and doing who the heck knows with a grim face  At least this is what I think people thought...
Oh well, some results of that to follow here... (VIS/UV pairs)
1) Oregon grape (Mahonia aquifolium)
2) Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) and Daisy (Bellis perennis) and Ground Ivy (Glechoma hederacea)
3)Lesser Celandine (Ranunculus ficaria)
4) Yellow Anemone (Anemone ranunculoides)
5) Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale)
6) Wild Tulip (Tulipa xx) and Pheasant's Eye (Adonis vernalis)

Thanks Graham, I was joking of course, but there is truth to it. People look strange
and sometimes come over and ask. I'm used to that and sometimes it's funny _________________ Klaus - Admin

I'm curious about what the images tell us. It seems like the areas that have a purple cast must reflect most of the UV light, correct? I assume the dark areas (for instance the centers of the flowers) must be absorbing all the UV light. But what about the areas that appear yellow? Is that a result of reflected UV and visual-spectrum light? _________________ http://www.youtube.com/user/hancockDavidM
