I've come across an interesting variable rear flange adapter on e-bay today, connection to the lens appears to be solely via thumb screws:
See http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-Mount-Adapter-for-Any-Lens-to-Micro-Four-Thirds-m4-3-MFT-camera-/291636195702?hash=item43e6df3176:g:eskAAOSwcOFWaegQ

Although hit says 'Universal' in the title it mentions further down that EOS & Sony A lenses won't fit.
No details on the range of flange distances it covers - I suspect it might start too long for My dad's old CZJ Werra lenses I'd like to try...

Not really a new idea that, but certainly useful for experiments.
Bit on the pricey side though... Wink

Sorry for my poor English (the quality of the automatic translator Google);

for the use of the Werra lenses in modern digital cameras, the only real alternative (which is the same as that used some company that markets these adapters on demand) is scrapping a Werra camera which allows the change of lens (from the Werra 3, I recall) and coupling (join with epoxy-Araldit) to mount an adapter; in my case I got it with a reverse adapter Canon Eos to 58mm. ( http://manualens.com/foro/index.php/topic,21128.0.html ). It's in Spanish, but with the services of the translator think it would be possible to understand, and photos on Photobucket think self explanatory. If you want some added explanation, I for one would be happy to help (if still remember the details Wink )

Regards

Thanks for that, yes making an adapter from an old Werra body would do the job - I wouldn't want to go to the extent of spoiling my dads old camera, which is why a Heath-Robinson Universal adapter appealed. I very much doubt I'll ever get round to trying though.

... the solution would be to buy another camera Werra (preferably under scrappage not matter that does not work, only the mount would be used) cheap. And, of course, taking the manual work ... Rolling Eyes
