Tripod Collar for CZJ Sonnar 200mm 2.8

Just got my CZJ Sonnar 200mm 2.8 and as you know this type does not have a tripod collar like the other "brother" 180mm 2.8.

Anyone of you have got the perfect tripod collar for this particular lens what type, brand and where to get it?
It will be a big help.

If anything else fails I'd suggest -as a last resort- to contact SRB-Griturn Ltd in the UK for ordering a custom tripod collar. Not cheap but the best in terms of quality and versatility, I've used them many times in the past for the same scope.

You are right that'll be the last resort to contact and I am pretty sure it is not cheep.
Mean while I guess I have to wait information from others.....

You can check the cheap chinese replicas for canon L zooms - if the size is the same.

Hi std,

I have checked the chinese tripod collar L zoom lens for Canon, specially the Tripod Mount Collar B(W) for Canon 100-400mm F4.5-5.6L
with at least inner diameter min 77mm.

As you might know the filter diameter of the CZJ Sonnar is 77mm and going down to the barrel is bigger diameter....
I am not sure if this tripod collar will hold the lens... Very Happy

I have used these in the past, low cost and come in various sizes and you can get them in plastic if the diameter is small enough.
