Ouch - my eyes are bleeding from the sharpness.
What glorious colour rendition.
Five stars from me!

I second that!

Amazing photographs Klaus.

One question, is this a Japanese lens?

It renders difficult colors well - bluish red in that case:

That last, low key one is really "baroque", I like that...

I knew you would like this lens. I've found you don't want too busy/close for background shooting wide open as it will soap bubble.

Truly wonderful pictures, Klaus!

The last two in your first set are especially beautiful.

Nothing special, just my usual process for all my flower shots, resize for web, resharpen a tad, add copyright mark.

I believe that I set a record for saying the word "WOW"!
I would be green with envy if I did not have this lens, already. So, that is a good relief. I, absolutely, love your images Klaus. bravo! Thanks for showing me what this lens is capable of doing. I had mine on my camera for a few weeks last winter, and loved it, but decided to move on to others. So, I never fully explored the possibilities, nor did I put it to such use as you. Bravo, Klaus! Some of the very best images I have seen, in my opinion and tastes.

Thanks aspen for the nice words! Be reminded, that a lens is only a tool, a photographer "makes" the photo, so whatever lens you use, all have the capabilities to lead to a good photo!

I'd like to add my "wow" - lots of great shots in this thread.
Klaus, what cameras were you using?
Here are some of my recent efforts with the lens on NEX 6. Last two processed in Silver Efex, others with minor adjustments in Lightroom.
