A while back Amazon had a sale on NEX-PK tilt adapters, and I picked one up along with a PK-M42 adapter.

I'm not interested in the miniaturization effect. I'm hoping to use it for closeups and even macro, to get more of the subject in focus without shooting it straight on.

I've been playing around the last couple of evenings and it's very interesting. Quite ticklish, adjusting the tilt changes the focus and it's a trial and error process. Thank heavens for live view, must have been very frustrating using tilt on SLRs with optical viewfinders.

My subject was a Praktica BCA camera and it's cute little pancake lens. I like this little cam, too bad the mirror only returns half the time Crying or Very sad

A compact little unit good for low DoF shooting attempts, with a matte black body that minimizes reflections so I only have to worry about focus and not lighting.

Shot with Helios 44, wide open. I was wondering if tilt would affect the swirly wide open bokeh, but it doesn't appear to.

1) Wide open. I couldn't get perfect focus on both the text of the camera and the text of the lens.

2) Halfway click between f/2.8 and f/4. Good focus on both the text of the camera and the text of the lens.
