All of them taken at F/4-5,6

Sharpness: OK

Contrast: OK

Good lens. No more, no less.

Very cheap. Worth to buy an expensive 1,4 version?

Hmmmmmmm.............For common subjects, I don't think so.

Usually i also prefer smaller (f1.7 or f1.Cool 85mm MF lenses, even though i have an 1.4/85mm AF lens. Depth of field is too narrow at f1.4, and lens performance isn't perfect either (at 1.4), and ... i don't like the additional weight.

So i agree about your comment.
