I'd like to add some vintage effect to a totally digital holiday pic. I really like my Zorkies and jupiters, but don't want to carry them on holidays...
What do you think of this pic? Is it similar to that type of scans? Some good idea for even better result?
Thanks for visiting! _________________ A lot of MF lenses, Panasonic G1, EOS 300V, Zorki 4, Kiev 4, Pentacon Six etc.

Can you share with us how you did it ? If not too difficult to explain I think that will be useful for most of us! _________________ -------------------------------

Ok, no problem...
The most important part is how to add grain. In this step I used Gimp.
1. Decompose the img to HSV layers
2. Add some noise to the SATURATION layer
3. Blur (very light) the same layer
4. Compose to get back the image
After that I used lightroom to modify the white balance. Zorki's pics a bit green...added some corner darkness etc.
But the grain simulation is the meat... _________________ A lot of MF lenses, Panasonic G1, EOS 300V, Zorki 4, Kiev 4, Pentacon Six etc. |
