Thank you, very usefull.

The chemistry way let us a control that the digital way don't yet.

The classical example is the pic with overexpos. to take details in the shadows and underdevel. to reduce high lights. Of course, it's not cheap.

Not so expensive if you restrict to B&W and develop by yourself... Wink

Actually I have a plugin on Bibble that is based on exactly this system. It works very well and allows me to adjust the luminance in very narrow (zones). Frankly I pass about 90% of my takes through this, it's my exposure adjustment of choice. Very Happy Very Happy
