Hi everybody,

I'm interested in the Pentax 6x7 lens and plan to use it with adaptor 4/3. Who used to try the series of these lens on D-SLR? In my opinion, the quality of the medium format is higher than 135mm slr because it use for the large pictures and high resolution, that's right?

If I wrong, please give me the true things.

Thanks for all reply.

Not higher quality just bigger and heavier lenses. Quality is not depended from format an excellent 35mm lens surely better quality than an average 6x7. Quality can be different on each lenses in my opinion, benefit can be on D-SLR you will use the best part of lens (center) only on D-SLR. Every lens has best part the center. So don't expect better quality, but I think you will get good lenses.

Generally the smaller the format the more important the resolution. So 35mm lenses need to resolve more information than medium format lenses need to to get the same quality. Having said that it's possible to make medium format lenses resolve as well as 35mm lenses.
