This copy is not perfect, and was about 425USD But I like it.
Calibration is not great with M9, but I need to practice and get some shots anyway
If I'm not mistaken, 50,000 copies of this lens were produced! _________________ Making MFlenses safe for the letter *L* |

huge tho
kinda
i think thats prolly heavier than my dusty ol Nikkor 50mm 1.2
ima lower my sights a bit, to the Canon 'Japanese Summilux' 50mm 1.4
which i dont need, but i'd like to try tho |
I recently made the same choice. Can't say I am disappointed.
However the money I saved didn't stay saved long. Instead it was invested (yea, like I said, invested
) in a Zeiss Ultron 1.8/50, which I still can't use because the adapter for my A7II is still coming from China. _________________ Steve

I went for a walk once comparing my LTM Canon 50/1.2 with Canon nFD 50/1.2 L and ...well...L was TECHNICALLY better I you would guess. I am keeping both
In some situations the LTM is unbeatable, but overall FD L is a king.

Canon also made a somewhat rare 35/1.5 LTM. _________________ A Manual Focus Junky...

The 35/1.8 is a nice lens. Very small and quite sharp.
But what really stunned me is the Canon 135/3.5 that I just got in the mail today. This is the first photo I took with it.

I had this lens out today on the A7.mod:
Garth by unoh7, ISO 100, at 1/640, what was my aperture? At least the M9 makes a guess

Above you can see most of the frame is actually very good at f/8 but the edges really collapse, unlike the 1.4.

The 1.4 is cool WO, but does not do this LOL _________________ Making MFlenses safe for the letter *L* |
