I'm rather liking this little rangefinder especially if it can turn out stuff like these with fomopan 100:

Well the water is quite clear but I was shooting towards the sun and trying to expose for the reflection on the water. I thonk I focussed and exposed on a bright patch but can't be sure: your suggestions please?

Is this the same camera as the Rank Aldis 35? It looks like it.

This is the Rank Aldis which is the same as the Mamiya 4B.

Those are nice pictures, I really should run some film through this Rank Aldis.

Good results, but you seem surprised that Foma is able to produce this? FWIW, it's one of my 1st choices for B&W film.

To avoid blocked shadows, you can expose for them /shadows). After you should PP and obtain a good compromise image.

Or can wait for a soft day to reduce the ratio.

Perhaps be good to control the ratio of the lights (high and low). Not always the place is good to take a very good poto.

Nice images.

ah, my first 35mm camera, bought off my mate's dad in 1973. It is similar, that's why I thought it may be a rebadged Yashica.
cheers Dave, I may just have to look for another!

Foma is my first film choice too, excellent result on first few images.
