In my opinion, 750 USD is too much.

Is it so much better than a CZJ Sonnar 180/2.8 or a Nikkor ED 180/2.8, which can be had for 200 - 250 euros?

I had all three, answer is definitely NO from me. They are more less same. I think best from all CZJ Sonnar.

Don't forget that Atilla's perspective on the price is that of a collector, not only a photographer. Wink

I bought this lens- my friends to keep it in the Family Very Happy . I will of course post images when the lens arrives .

Thanks for the heads up Attila, and everyone for your feedback on it. I read some reviews of it and some old magazine articles that said it retailed for 500 pounds when it debuted.
