Tamron Adaptall with PAD for Exakta?

I'm trying to establish if Tamron ever made an Adaptall adaptor for Exakta cameras with the little tab on the side of the adaptor to activate the aperture when the shutter is pressed.
What pictures I have been able to find all refer to a Topcon/Exakta adaptor with no PAD (Pressure Activated Diaphragm) lever.
When I started my little Exa familiarisation exercise with my Exa Ia I was quite content to work with fully manual and preset lenses and the waist-level viewfinder, but having acquired a Domiplan with a PAD my interest has been piqued and I'm looking to "expand my horizons" Wink
I do have what appears to be a third party (or very well home-made) Adaptall adaptor, with no markings whatsoever, which works, but is manual stop-down only, with no linkages of any kind.
I have seen an Adapt-a-Matic adaptor with the PAD lever, but they seem to be like hens teeth.
I do have a T4 adaptor with PAD which I use with my Soligor and Vivitar lenses and it works well Smile
Any comments or insights will be welcome Smile

I don't think so. After 1977 no more exakta mount camera's were made. There was a Adapt-a-matic adapter for Exakta (EX). There is a Topcon RE adapter for adaptall, I believe that is based on Exakta, but don't know how compatible it is.

Thanks, but given that the original Adaptall was introduced in 1973 I'd hoped there might have been an "interim" adaptor, even if there wasn't a specific Adaptall-2 adaptor.
Not sure if the Topcon adaptor will fit the Exa bodies, they don't have the external lever so would be of little use to me anyway … living in hope Smile

I believe is was mostly launched in 76, with a few zooms in 1973. A bit murky as production of Adapt-A-Matic seems to have ceased after 1973 and the Adaptall primes only came in 76.

Thanks … details for the earlier range of Adaptall lenses does seem to be a bit thin on the ground. Plenty of brochure scans for the Adaptall-2 range (and even for the Adapt-a-Matic), but not so for the early Adaptall stuff … I'll keep looking Wink
Just finished a roll in my Exa Ia this afternoon, it's washing at the moment Smile
