Becomes 1000mm (on 1.5x crop sensor = 1500mm)
On Pentax K5, SR activate set to 800mm (as max), hand-held except #4, iso 10000-20000, 1/800s - 1/2500s
I tried without SR even at 1/2000s, the results were far more bad. Hard enough with tripod. But i learn to follow my heart beats when shoting these

Are these your macro attempts with the 200F convertor that was discussed in another thread?

Not so sharp and very noisy... cannot see the point using a long mirror lens with a TC for this kind of pics. But it´s fun to try to break the rules every now and then. Cool

Major kudos for getting these shots handheld.

They're not bad, #2 is probably my fave.

I did a little noodling around with my mirror lens and flowers this week, it's very cumbersome and the results can be OK... The problem is that I can slap any old 50mm prime on a bellows and get better shots with less effort Razz

Thanks Mo. I enjoy to do something untraditional Laughing
Image quality is not as good as macro lenses with a setup for macro, but in need, i can keep distance from some scary creatures.
