Just back from a walk in a very cold and grey day
I took some test shots with Tamron 300 just fitted on my 1D.
No sunlight so I had to use ISO 800 and working under the safety time (camera was handheld, no tripod).
Even in such bad situation, some interesting infos are available
This is the shot (iso 800, 1/180 sec):
and this is a 100% crop:
good news:
- colors are faithful and well saturated
- detail is there (look at fingers)
bad news:
- CA along borders of contrasted colors (lense is not coated)

Overall, I am quite satisfied by this lense, expecially for colors it gives.
Now I'll be waiting for a sunny day so I can double check it _________________ Canon 1DmarkIII & 5D old
