Field test of this pair that gave me an inexpensive 600mm.
I worked a little on the contrast and sharpness .....
The results seem decent.
I think I'll take it on vacation to capture some images of wildlife ..
Photos taken with Sony Alpha 580 shot almost all of 800 ISO to get shutter speeds fairly short ... (without tripod)

It is true ... post-production help ... but if the lens doesn't capture the details ...... the photo is good only for the trash bin. Very Happy

Low contrast, blury pictures is sometimes interesting too, but in general I agree with you. A good starting point makes it even better with some PP Wink
