In a topic about 300mm, I spoke about this lens.
I think it's worth a specific topic, so that people can find him more easily with the search facility.
Shots taken in May 2009.
This is not a Sniper model, this is an old black Grand Prix Brussels 1958.
Serial number : 003034. I read that numbers beginning by 00 were prototypes.
Wide open (f4.5) it is soft. But over 5.6, i was very pleased.
Here are some samples :
Please, notice that they were all shot handheld and that it is quite heavy...
2 pics from a test i made to compare long lenses.
Butterfly beauty
some flowers to finish

Thanks Rolf, Poilu, Mike, Fish, Attila, Andy.
That's a good find for sure, and it's very smooth to use.
It was fun when I tried it for proxi photo. I never had this idea before till I read Bryan Peterson who likes to use things for what they're not supposed to do.
Fish, it's difficult to find him a tripod as the screw doesn't fit standard ones.
When I look back at those pics shot in may 2009, I am eager to return to sunshine, flowers and spring. _________________ Olivier - Moderator
