Don't forget the Tamron SP 17/3.5 which is better than the Tokina IMO. |
I doubt you could go wrong with either, if you saw either at a good price, take one. _________________ I don't care who designed it, who made it or what country it comes from - I just enjoy using it! |

If you saw any of the other options, Fujinon 19mm, Flektogon 20mm, Nikkor 20mm, Olympus 18mm etc, and the price was okay and the condition good, take it, I am sure they would all do what you need.
The Tamron and Tokina 17mms are likely to be the best price/value though. _________________ I don't care who designed it, who made it or what country it comes from - I just enjoy using it! |

I also recommend the Tokina RMC 3.5/17. It's around 150eu, maybe a little more. You won't find a better lens around that length without paying much more imho. |

Here I am again:
I have found a 60 euros who Zenitar 16mm 2.8 m42 mount.
The seller states the lens loses infinity focus adapted on eos cameras.
Is it? Would I lose infinity on my 5Dmk2? |

As far as I know (and experienced) Infinity focus on zenitars is really uncertain, but easy to adjust. If it's in good condition the price is a bargain. I like that lens really much. It's a fisheye, though _________________ C&C and editing of my pics are always welcome

Hi everybody,
I have a m4/3 and a canon 5dmk2 and looking for a really wide (but no fisheye) mf lens.
….)

That was your first post.
29 posts later you will buy a fish eye. Do you really know what you want ? I´m not sure. Best would be you buy a modern AF lens for your cam and then you will be sure to own a good lens.

No, I didn't count them, you will see the number of posts on the index page. And if you would try the search function, you will find a similar topic approx. ever 2 weeks with the same content. And at least, I'm pretty sure that you have enough experience to find your own decision. Am I wrong ?
