One of the easiest places to do Street photos is a Street Market. I usually use a wide lens, my favourite on crop DSLR is the Zenitar as there is no need to worry about focus, it makes the photography so easy. I also like shots with longer lens if there is a good vantage point to use.

Zenitar 16mm

Pentax-A SMC f2.8 28mm

Tamron f2.5 105mm

Tamron 105 again

These are great Rob. I really like hoe the direction of the different faces causes a dynamic. The last three are fantastic.

Simon. I was trying to get some compositional elements and ‘Dynamics’ with the shots. #1 has a nice (IMO) group of three couples. #2 has a nice relationship between the couples head angle and their expressions. #5 Has caught the women and Child just taking a big bite of their burgers #6 Is a Diagonal line of figures with the centre subject in focus. Thanks for noticing, I know your own work is always well thought out.

I'm really impressed by the Tamron 105 - a lens I'm not familiar with.

One just sold for a cheap price. They don't come up often.
I have had mine from new 1976 and it is a Fav lens that has served me well on 35 film and now digital.

It took me a while to find it at adaptall.com - I see it in the regular adaptall (not adaptall-2) listings! Looks like a gem!

I like all of them but #4 is my favorite. She looks like she is about to hit you over the head.

The little Adaptall 1 f2.5 105mm isn’t well known as it was only made in Adaptall 1 for a few years and was expensive in its day. It is mentioned on a few lens sites inc Cult Classics. It is said to be a copy of the Nikon f2.5 105mm, I wouldn’t comment on that. I do know it is sharp right from wide open, I have even done nice close ups with it with the addition of an extension tube.
One of my Nikon owning friends (Digital) who used to own a Nikon 105mm was so impressed with the Tamron he bought the first one he saw on eBay, he is still impressed.

The lady in #4 was very nice I spoke to her and she was having a good laugh at the expression on her face.
