I will be working on this image. I don't generally like to "work" an
image in Photoshop too much - I generally just toss those that
seem to need a bunch of manipulation.
However, this one has potential, and I wanted you to see the "before"
image, just because it was a good time to be there, with the sun
shining through the trees to make a couple of nice shafts of light. It
didn't last long, and NATURALLY I was on image #12 with the Yashica
Mat, but at least I got some raw data to work with.
The "after" image will be posted within a week. Hope I can make it
into a good looking image. This is one where I should ask for
help from my fellow forum members. I'll try my changes first, then
see what you think.

He tried, Attila, but there is no hope for it. The color gamut only exists in the
green and blue spectrum, which is certainly attributable to expired film.
No big deal though, life is fun, and so is photography!

Used Skintone Adjustments and Tone Curves of all things, trying to add
that warmth that went away with the wanky film. I managed to get rid
of the horrible Cyan cast. Used the tone curves, because Hue/Saturation
adjustments made it worse. Took a chance and tried Skintone adjustments
for the "warmth" since this particular tool will take tan colors and give
them a shot of reddish-yellow. Right now, the ferns around the top are
pretty close to what is there, they are normally a very saturated green.
The light in the waterfalls is much closer to the true color temperature.
I don't know though...I doubt I'll get it where it should be.
Tried Attila's suggestion of Black and White. Converted and brought up Red Channel by about 15%. Changed to Index Mode and matched the
midtones and shadows a little better, then back to RGB.

white!
I'm wondering now about a crop - the bottom could be cropped
pretty heavily, since it's not the most interesting part of the
scene. I'll try a crop and see if I can bring the waterfall closer.

I had no idea you had torn a tendon. Wow, not fun. BUT...they usually
heal very well from what I know about them. Good luck on that. Don't

Spleenone, it is most certainly an expired roll. All of the images have
that same color cast that seems to lack in the red and yellow
spectrum. It was Ektachrome, and was actually exactly 7 months
past expiration. Interesting, because I shoot Provia all the time that
is 6 or 7 YEARS expired.
