Hello my friends, how are you?

My name is Felippe. A brazilian new photographer Smile))

I am looking forward to buy a Sony NEX-5N and also a bunch of lenses to combine with the camera.

I have so many questions and I am sure that my answers are here, with your advices. Here we go:

- What kind of lenses should I look for? Brands, specs, numbers?
- And the adapter to use those third party lenses? Any specific spec that I should look for?
- Need to get the best sharp options, I am a VERY demanding person.
- If you guys can paste here links to web sites and eBay products, will be perfect!

I need the lenses to make nature pictures, people and animals pictures, landscape pictures, sunlight sports (fast action), night life parties (low light) and etc. Probably will need a combination of different lenses.

Attila, I WAS AMAZED by the pictures that you posted with the Jupiter lenses. How can I get something like that with my NEX? Need to know the specs from the lens and the correct adapter

My friends, please notice that I willing to spend MAX 100 US Dollars per lens.

Thank you very very very much, from the bottom of my heart.

Next month I am going to the US. Will be easier to buy stuff on eBay and ask to be delivered to my hotel.

Take care all, peace!
BEST Regards,
Felippe Peixoto / Felippe9

Welcome Felippe! Nex has amazing sensor, not so hard to get excellent images with almost any lenses. Little post processing contrast, color fixing and sharpening first class aid to most lenses.

Ok then, Attila.

To have the crystal clear crisp photos that you got here, how can I get it?

Please inform the lens and what adapter should I get.

Thank you in advance, all the best!

Shoot at F8 in good light, use post processing contrast , color fix (auto usually enough) I am using Acdsee pro software.
http://www.acdsee.com/

Lens is last , Jupiter-9, Jupiter-11, Jupiter-8 all inexpensive and great. Konica Hexanons all great many of them inexpensive.
Carl Zeiss Jena, Carl Zeiss all great. Jena lenses many of them inexpensive.

Super! Amazing!

If you have to select 3 lens to everyday use, which ones would you recommend? Here is my usage:

- Party / Bar at night with friends?
- Nature / beach / snow ?
- Sports - fast ?
- Persons / family / friends / street / trips ?

Each lens spending MAX U$ 60,00/each.

Thank you once again... you have no idea how helpful you are being with me.

Take care, cheers!

For 60 USD you can buy mostly 50mm lenses only. Very low limit, I not recommended.

3 lenses for the NEX, US$60,- max for each one.

That IS possible, if you don't restrict yourself to rangefinder lenses! Look for your lenses in the SLR field...

A nice combination would be:

- Tamron 2.5/24 (Party / Bar at night with friends)
- Olympus 2.8/35 (Persons / family / friends / street / trips / Nature / beach / snow)
- Tamron 2.5/135 (Sports - fast)

With a little luck and a lot of patience, can find them for US$180. But perhaps you have to pay a little more.
But I guess for US$ 220,- you should find those lenses.

There are other nice lenses as well. Vivitars and Soligors are really good and often go for rather little money.

Hi there!

So, for these types of use, I will be good with these type of lenses and measures:

- 2.5/24 (Party / Bar at night with friends)
- 2.8/35 (Persons / family / friends / street / trips / Nature / beach / snow)
- 2.5/135

Any specific brand that you guys can recommend? I've been searching for Pentax, Konica Minolta, Chinon, Olympus and Nikon.

Remember that I want to get the "best bang for my money".

Thank you all! once again

All the best!
Cheers,
Felippe
