Sony announces some interesting products today:

(i) A99 (Fullframe SLT)

(ii) NEX-VG900 (full-frame camcorder)

Hmm, nothing to really interest me, sadly. Wi-fi on a camera, great, just what I need somewhere where there isn't a wifi hotspot within 25 miles and what would I want wi-fi on a camera for?

Now, if they had put that FF sensor in a NEX body I'd be interested. I don't see any point in a FF camera with a fixed lens.

Really Strange approach. But perhaps it is Sony way of telling the world they can produce a FF NEX any time if they want to.
