consideration:
- f1,4 very soft at infinity. I want to try it with another adaptor just o be sure that isn't question of distances between sensor and lens.
- f1,4 in the night show good performances in terms of coma. We are speaking about a lens 30+ years old that is better than a lot of other NEW fast lenses.
- lens is coming acceptable at f4 on the corner and good at f5,6 were reach the top of the performances.
- center is acceptable at f2,8 and sharp at f4. the top is reached at f5,6

For night shots this looks waaay better than the EF lens.

I don't like many canon lenses for night shots, the FD SSC 24/2.8 is quite good, the 24/1.4 is good when stopped down, I prefer OM lenses.

The 55 1,2 Olympus OM in the night is a disaster. But I have a good feeling with 18 f3,5 MC .

I have the adaptor for Sony and i'm going to do some night shoots with my 18mm and 21mm . I'm quite nose about.
I'll post the shoots soon

21/3.5 & 50/1.4 both MC are my "Go-To" night lenses. The ones I can count on.
