But what a naughty seller!

That lens is available for US$ 349,- from Amazon.com in the States.

In Germany a seller offers it for € 440,-!!

Just to remind you: US$ 349,- are about €270,- !!!

What a ripp-off!!

At least Amazon.de offers it for € 373,- but that is also €100,- more expensive than in the States!
Plus they say it will be sent within the next two months!

Bloody hell!

Almost all photographic items significantly cheaper in USA than in Europe from long time ago, not a surprise. Don't forget tax here and there etc. Anyway annoying indeed, if I would like to buy a software online price is always same in USD and in EUR, naturally if they know I am from Europe I can't take it for USD.

Yes, we know that those items are more expensive here.
But this time it's 160% of the price! That's a rip-off!

In Germany there are 2 years guarantee included.
How is it with US- or UK Version?

Anyway I would buy it from UK for less than 300€

mine has a european warranty sheet in the package, written also in german, so i do not see any difference - bought in UK

have to add something: i did a mistake in my first pricing - searching the invoice to et the adress for a member here, i saw, it was pound not euro, so the Euro price is 345.- shipped - sorry
