Other than the CZJ Sonnar 200mm f2.8 are their any other 200mm Sonnars out there? Is the Takumar 200mm f 3.5 - a Sonnar design? What type of lens is t? Does it perform well?
Some inputs would be appreciated. _________________ Arijit |

Don't know which 200mm are Sonnars, I guess there should be various.
The Takumar isn't a Sonnar, has 4 elements in 4 groups and is a truly great lens nevertheless.

samples look good, right?
even though in a Pentaxforum I'd think that the total score average from 11 reviews of 9.09, which is one of the highest while most other teles, also Pentax lenses, score in the 8s and 7s, one even below 5, can be taken as a good indication that it is a good lens. _________________ my photos on flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/kuuan/collections |

Oh yes, the samples look delicious!!!! It is a good lens indeed.
Yesterday a guy here in kolkata who gets me my old lenses, hinted at that a 200mm Sonnar might be available.... Now before I took a look or decided, thought I'd read up first on what could it be. He said it was a f3.5. Now in the event that it is a REAL CZJ Sonnar (2.8 and not 3.5) it could get me interested.... _________________ Arijit |
