I can assure you it is. I have a couple of both (not electric version). Especially I love the color rendering on 40 years old Tele-Xenars (serial #'s 753xxxx, optically superb but suffering mechanical problems due to heavy use in their history.
One strange thing: I have one Sonnar for Exakta, almost 50 years old. I consider it better than the newer ones (with slide film) especially in the hard light at noon.
Now I asked Jan if he is still selling the newer electric version. I'm interested indeed! |
