yep! I know...

I admit that I am new in the MF but I have some flair for lenses... Smile

and I have read your lens list --- oh god! I'd like to have it!

BUt I said to myself -- there must be one film camera in my hands --
the bessa-L has been choosen by me
and now I am hunting for the widest lens ever made..Smile

I am selling my 30D EOS -- ooops! --
so I am gonna be without digital for long time (approx. half a year)....

My MF lenses for SLR will be sleeping.. Smile)) but not sold ---
only a few of them...Smile

Embarassed Rolling Eyes It is a bit silly really

I must say again though
The bessa and wide combo is one fun set up
You find yourself holding the camera into places you would never with a reflex
If my back gets well enough
This weekend I will take mine to a music festival
I have an idea to use the camera like a "periscope" above crowds and also at foot level near stages and installations
I have a few rolls to develop from hiking and beach trips with the dogs
Holding the camera at ankle level while walking with the dogs on the beach has made some really fun shots also
It would be great with kids at a playground or ball game

Get it you will love it

PS if you don't get the 12 for some reason the 15 is super
It is actually better in some ways as fall off is less apearent with the 15
you don't miss those few extra degress of view once you pass 100 degrees

i agree --- 15 is in possession of my brother!!! ---
I've seen his pics --- perfect ---

usually --- I study 99 per cent of lenses I buy =---

I have read good review on 12

see this link -- its interesting:

http://www.apogeephoto.com/dec2000/Voigtlander_ultra.shtml

there is a mention about fall-off but I dont care --
the 12 will be my biggest emotion!!! Smile although my digital will be sold..

I wanna take less pics ---

Very Happy

Good luck
I look forward to your work

BTW I have the 4/25 skopar with viewfinder as well
Another excellent CV lens
Do not hesitate if you find it on a good price

Actually all the CV rangefinder lenses are really great and a good value
Wink

Well here is a little one

Keep your eye open for viewfinders
You can put an LTM lens on that Bessa L
Scale focusing of course can be done with any lens
The trick is framing must have viewfinders in the correct focal
Those turret ones are OK but really quite a compromise when compared
to a nice one dedicated to the FL you are using. It's easy to mix and match so
if you find something cheap pick it up even if you don't have a lens to go with it yet

I think it would be fair to have the auction run to its end since it has quite a few watchers already. I had it announced here before anyway...

Cheers,
