Was given this lens as it was full of fungus!(unusable).
Sat in the 'to fix' pile for months and then the motivation to clean came and i've given her a new lease for life.
Birdlife, Arachnid life, anything really.
@ 5.6 it glows like crazy but down to f8 and hello my new friend.
yes its big and heavy, but the more i use it the more i like.

Heh, Nice spider image. Very dramatic lighting. The bird photos appear to lack contrast. Not sure when this lens was made but it looks a bit on the older side as regards coatings. The water droplet photo is cool.
