Maybe Sigma wants to spread their cameras more, because majority of their advertisement originate from the users themselves.

Yes, but from what I read is very similar to the Canon EOS one and someone managed to hack Canon lenses in it without the need of an adapter.

Wow, at that price could be a nice target!
I've been always looking at the Sigmas but always refused to buy one because the price...
Let's see how does it evolve locally. Time to sell some lenses to make cash....
