That's an interesting sensor I somehow missed - the Sony CCD sensor with the highest resolution, as far as I know (14 MP).

After the Minolta Dynax 7D (6MP APS-C CCD) and the Sony A100 (10MP APS-C CCD) I went straight to the A700 (12 MP APS-C CMOS) and, one year later, to the A900 (24 MP FF CMOS).

It is exactly why I obtained that camera, after I discovered for myself the world of Sony CCD sensors with A100 model. To try more advanced matrix.

However, I have to admit, that 10MP sensor for my taste is more interesting.

It is still only an impression yet. I have to do yet the direct comparison.
