I'm getting used to MF lenses now and trying to be a bit clever. This one I AM pleased with.

Canon 1DII, Sigma 200 Scalematic, f/8, 1/200th, ISO 400.

I like it..silver bling! Very Happy It would be a good effect to master before Christmas.

Is that the model with two focusing rings?
I have one Sigma-XQ 200mm 3.5, rather small lens.
Mine is not very sharp, certainly WO.

Yes it is the one with two focussing rings - I really ought take it's photo.

Mine isn't razor sharp wide open which is why I had an hour at f/8 to see how that was. Better, much better!

Yes, why not? Stop it down to F8, find z bit of black card, roll it into a tube and hold it on with an elastic band. The hood on this lens isn't more than 30mm long so you shouldn't need a great stovepipe!
