A new release and apparently a world first.
No other zoom out there with such a fast constant aperture. I'd be interested in people's experiences with this lens. _________________ Minolta MC Rokkor f1.4 50mm

There has been discussions about this lens in other forums. Thanks for starting it here. I am also interested in what the people here think about it.
Based on what I have heard so far, this lens seems to be a champ! _________________ Personal forum activity on pause every now and again (due to job obligations)!

I'm looking forward to seeing some sample. The price is way out of my range at $800, but I'm still very curios about what it is like. As for their claim of it being a world first, I have since discovered that Tamron have constant zooms that are even faster! _________________ Minolta MC Rokkor f1.4 50mm

Have they? I doubt that. At least not for APS. _________________ Personal forum activity on pause every now and again (due to job obligations)!

I can't find the link now but I did read about Tamron zooms with constant aperture of f1.1. _________________ Minolta MC Rokkor f1.4 50mm
