Got some bad news from the test roll I shot through the Contax 137MD, trying to decide if
this is a hole in the shutter curtain or light leak. The band goes through the entire film, thru
the sprocket holes. It occurs in different areas, but is in the last 1/3 of the frame on the
right. hummm





This also wasn't in every frame, 10 frames were ok. A puzzler.

If it's through the whole film, top to bottom, then it is most likely a light leak. Probably at the hinge. A shutter curtain drag/cap would only affect the frame, not the sprockets.

Thanks, Marc, well, I have light seals and new clothes coming from Japan.

I was really hoping not have to pay someone to install new cloth curtains. Smile
