Hi guys,

just before Christmas I was on Helgoland. We had two and a half days there and the only day it rained was the day, we got a guided Tour over the dune to see the newborn and young seals! So I the boat to the dune I decided to put one lens on my D200 and let it stay there for the whole event, to not get any moisture inside my camera. I chose my sturdy old Nikkor Ai-S 300mm f4.5 and this is what I got with it!

No seals but 300mm and same location...

I see a notable difference of contrast between the first one and all the others (seals). THe weather conditions seem not to have been nice, Should'nt you do a little further processing to improve this?.
Which process did you apply?

Regards.
Jes.

The first one is processed because I forgot to change from Manual to Aperture Priority!

I tried some processing on the rest but they kind of destroy the mood of the pictures!
