Taken early this morning with the 350D and my flagship, the Carl Zeiss Planar 50mm 1.7. Not the best lens for landscapes, but the only one I was carrying on...

Shots in Av mode, F8~F11. ISO100. Stabilized by my iron arm... Wink

Fantastic sky and the waves are wonderful!
I just love the sea in fall and winter...

superb series Jes, your iron arm was perfect
the 50 1.7 is a perfect landscape lens with superb sharpness, of course 85mm equivalent can be sometimes restricting
ps: the 50 1.7 is a CZ planar, not a CZJ sonnar

I agree the 1.7/50 is very good when it comes to landscape & the clouds. It can accomodate great tonal range. It just seems so that it sees a lot more than other lenses Smile
