Hi everybody,

Long time no see. I'm very busy but today I come back and read all good post.

I've tested this lens and fall in love in bokeh too.

Thank you for visiting me. Laughing

Lovely shot. I am a great fan of schneider lenses.

Is it the same lens that is displayed on Captain Jacks Schneider page?

HI!!

Beautifull (model, lens and pic too).

It's a xenar lens (so tessar schame). F/ 8 or 11 ?

Schneider lens, so good.

Rino.

Schneider Xenar, Xenon + Xenatar (sure you haven't heard of the latter...) are very good lenses indeed!

So this is with an Exakta-EOS EF adapter? Are there any problems with that adapter?

Very nice shot and lovely model!!

The five elements xenotar (in medium format, the rolleiflex) had trhe same schame than the biometar 80/2,8. It's an hibrid lens with the front elements of planar and the rear are sonnar type.

The rolleiflex collectors say that the planar design have a plus in borders sharpness over the xenotar.

Thank you all of my friends for any comment.

Now I'm interested in Schneider lens and I try to collect in my collection.

Special thanks for estudleon, I have Schneider Arton 85mm f4, it's great for portrait. Now I try to find Schneider 35mm f2.8

Special thanks for kds 315* for the good paper of Shneider. Laughing

Hi Khan X

I was a voigtlander collector 20 years ago. And added the retina's lenses that fit voigtlander (all Schneiders : curtagón 28/4, curtagon 35/2,8 - with the lovely shade that I saw in my life- tele-xenar 135/4 and telexenar 200/4,Cool but I haven't the arton or rotelar 80-85/4.

Very good luck. Rino.

Hi estudleon, I've just got Voigtlander skopar 50mm f2.8 and Rodenstock Rotella 135mm f4. Do you have any idea about them?

I've paid 9.99 for Skopar and 93 USD for Rotella.

We are talking about voigtlander bessamatic/ultramatic/retina reflex mount.

Skopar was one of the normal voigtlander lenses. Was tessar design, very sharp at F/8 to 16. Creams colors. Single coated. 4 versions
1 skopar focus 90 cm.
2 Skopar X focus 90 cm.
3 color Skopar X focus 90 cm.
4 color Skopar X focus 60 cm.

Filter size 40,5 mm. The lens has the DOF indicator (two red arrows).

Used the same shade than the superdinarex 135/4.

The 135/ Rotelar was a Rodenstock lens for retina reflex. was 4 element - as schneider tele xenar 135 lens. I beleave that Rodenstock did for retina two lenses, the rotelar and the heliogon 50/1,9 (same as schenider xenon 50/1,9). Both sharp lens but had the limitation of design to be used in the longer flange for the leaf shutter cams.

Prices : skopar, OK. Rotelar very high but few made lenses.

Rino.

Thanks for your nice pic. Do you think the bokeh is a little bit harsh?
