Images of a from my recently converted lens. The shutter and lens were mounted in a M42 extension ring (the smallest one),which was then mounted in a hollowed out Vivitar 2x Macro Focusing Converter Helicoid.
The lens reaches infinity and close focusing distance is 11inches. The lens itself has a focus ring besides the Vivitar Focusing Helicoid which greatly helps in tweaking the focus.

And some sample shots: All taken wide open and closing shutter manually to achieve the Ninja Star in the bokeh-just having fun.

Best

Thank you " martyn_bannister" , stan and Klaus. I am now on the lookout for Radionar lenses as I am taken by the quality/rendering of this glass.

Have a wonderful day

This lens is a seriously good one, in it's 'original' place perform very well, resolution is pretty awesome on long distance shoots.

Thats very nice to know-sadly it cannot go back to it's "original" place, because the camera was torn and busted. I bought it primarily to salvage the lens. Smile .
Today I have found and bought a 75mm 3.5 (with no shutter),that I am looking forward to also.

Some more images from today.

Veijo had an interesting way to use this - it turns out it can be used as a variable softness lens. Apparently you can just screw the front cell focus (on the lens) out, and then focus using the bellows. The further the front cell is screwed out the softer the focus.

I've bought a beautiful early Kodak folder with bright brass fittings, gorgeous crocodile skin effect brown leather covering and Moroccan red leather bellows.

It doesn't, however, have a lens or shutter.

I plan to put a more modern lens/shutter on it.

Now I think I need to find a Radionar or other quality Schneider lens after seeing these pics!

Thanks for sharing.
