Samyang is among the best value lenses you could buy IMO

The Times Square-shot, what aperture and focus range did you use? The only thing that disturbs me (mine has a taste for it as well at wintertime trees for example) is the CA at those skyscrapers.

I took my lens out for the first time in ages, and found the images look generally much better if you use Hugin (a powerful freeware program) to slightly edit the corners: import image as 7.5mm 2x crop fullframe fisheye, go to the projection-tab and select 'stereographic', go to crop-tab and select 'autocrop' and "stitch" the image.
