This is a Rudbeckia triloba flower portrait in simulated tri- and tetrachromatic vision (i.e. UV=blue, Blue, Green, Red)

Here the simulated tetrachromatic (bird / butterfly) vision:


and the simulated trichromatic (bee) vision:


For comparison, this is our normal, human vision::


and here also the pure UV (300-400nm) response showing that prominemt pattern (which only some animals can see- it should actually be black/white since UV has no "color"):


It gets quite obvious that both simulated tri- and tetrachromatic vision images include that UV pattern plus also the other channels bees (trichromatic) resp. birds/butterflies (tetrachromatic) can see.
