Great captures!

Has the spider grown a new hind leg, or are the legs different lenght by nature?

Great capture Kris! I wish to see more pictures from your trip. Are you in Transylvania or somewhere else in Romania ?

Excellent Kris, well done! I love the way the legs are shining though, they make the creature look very delicate (although it's quite a large species, I know...)

Thanks for the kind comments.

I am in the far east of Romania in Dobrodja. My site is on the Danube about 30km from the Danube. I'll be here for six weeks in total.

Best wishes, Kris.

This is my tenth season here. The first four were all three weeks, the last five have been nine weeks. The deserted factory series I posted in the BW film gallery sometime back was from the same town.

I am actually quite busy with work but I try and make some time for my personal photos too.

K.

I didn't know about this name. Is there a new breed? Any latins for it?
