I have this lens in black. It apparently was made for speed cameras and has a box square iris.

When opened to full aperture the iris does not open to a circle but a square. I wonder is this a fault because the internal glass seems big enough to support the iris opening to the full circle.

I have other non Robot lenses with box iris and they open to a full circle

Yes to get crisp images of car number plates Smile

But maybe, just maybe it can be doctored to make a 2.8/75mm ?
