After months of uncertainty about the direction my photography was going, I think the light has come on.
I'm committed to the foundations: Canon 5DII and 1DII photography with various L lenses, a number of converted FD/FL lenses and various MF 50mm lenses and my Mamiya 645 rig (1000S body and various lenses).
I can use the Mamiya lenses on the 5DII.
I've disposed of all but one of the Canon 35mm FD/FL cameras and rangefinders and I need probably to say goodbye to the IR converted Canon G5.
I've got a good cross-section of Mamiya 35mm cameras SLR and Rangefinders, recently grabbed a Yashica Minister RF and now I'm going to have a go at folding cameras - and you're all to be thanked!! I need ergonomic engagement with the kit when I take photos - I really don't get anything from Point and Shoot.

Canon G9 IR conv,

35mm: Oly OM Pro bodies 1, 2, 3 and 4; Soviet RF kit |

It's very satisfying to settle on something you like. Generally, good things come from this. _________________ LENSES & CAMERAS FOR SALE.....

Thanks both.
The grief I gave myself over Mamiya TLRs which I enjoyed but was not hugely thrilled by the square output, the Mamiya 7 Rangefinder kit which seemed silly expensive for me particularly given very little operator input but lovely photos...
recently Contax G2 systems have been winking at me but I knew they weren't right for me. Let's see what a few modestly priced and pocketable folders can do for me... _________________ I used to think digital was fun but then I discovered film, then I found old lenses and then, eventually I found rangefinders.

With removable lenses? Working chronologically backwards, ZM, ZE-X, ZE-2, ZE, NC1000s, Prismat CPH and from the rsanges of DSX, TL and MSX bodies.
I could end up breaking up this little collection and, by and large, when it comes to 35mm film I nearly always grab a 50mm lens. I really need to decide what I'm going to do with these and fixed lens Mamiya bodies: some give me a buzz, some just sit on the shelf.
Go on, can you list your Mamiya lenses then? _________________ I used to think digital was fun but then I discovered film, then I found old lenses and then, eventually I found rangefinders.
