Ah the Nikon EM.......I ignore the jokes about this camera as one has been in our family for about 20 years and has given excellent results and been reliable.

Rolf, I'm stoked, can't wait to try it, and even comes with a lens for that
price!

Excalibur, yes, I've heard all the talk (including Russ) about the EM, but
it was my first "real" SLR and the VF is a pleasure to look thru.

Nice find!
I just got myself a good looking FA body (Click here to see on Ebay) which I hope will provide me with lots of fun =)

Lars, it looks in very good shape, hope it's a shooter! Congrats!

@Ron, I should get the FE either Monday or Tuesday, can't wait to try it!

I'm excited for you, I love my FE... and wonder, if that isn't the nicest made and designed Nikon, whatever is better must be made out of God's butter!

I have handled an FE2 and think you'll enjoy it!

Martin and Jussi, I'm thinking the FE and FE2 will be my most used SLRs. I
have motor drives for both (even bought an extra for spare) and like the
heft and grip it provides. Thanks.

Confused I now wish I'd taken the FE instead of the Pentax ES-II on the trip. For some reason the ES-II decided to act all prima donna about her metering. And I was shooting slide film too. One moment, she meters, the next, not. Something wasn't right. Luckily I had a trusty Bessa 66 also Wink

I hope the Goddess of Photography smiles down on your slide film, and
always look forward to your Bessa 66 shots!

Shot a roll of Ultramax 400 today, and am happy with the metering in the
FE2:

Really like the build quality with this Nikon and I'm sure the FE is the same, with a good meter as well.
