Rear cap for the NEX lenses

One of the things that most surprised (and disappointed) me when I got my NEX was the missing body/rear lens caps. It seems to be the usual practice at NEX manufacturing, so I ordered one set by eBay.

But in the meantime, I've found this:

What is this?... A large water jug?...

Not so!. A perfect back cap for the NEX lenses!!

Hope this will be useful to others,

Regards.

I guess the problem will be the local availability of those water jugs, Jes.

Probably you could find something similar in your area, the tap sizes are quite standard.

These are the ones I consume usually, not a problem to save a few for you Wink

That would be great!

I've noticed that most bayonet rear caps seem to fit as well e.g. Pentax.

Yes, Pentax, C/Y or Olympus OM kind of fit, but not really...

Got the "official" clones:

At the end, for the lens cap, I still do prefer the water jug tap Smile
