Some impressions from a big local quarry.

Pentax K-r & SMC Pentax M 2/28@F8, single row pano stitched from 7 vertical shots, converted to greyscale using Silver Efex.



Some details, captured with Pentax K-r & Leica Elmarit-R 2.8/180@F5.6, converted to greyscale using Silver Efex.








The excavator is the same as shown in the left side of the pano.
This gives you an impression how big this "hole in the rocks" is.

Firstly, great pano! Well put together. Secondly, you've captured some incredible detail there. Thirdly, that is one BIG hole!!! Laughing

super series, i like them all

for comparison: the length of this excavators tracks is around 6m
