Projection lens mount using Astro Macro Gauss Tachar

I want to show my solution.
Used the focussing from a wrecked Astro Macro Gauss Tachar.
Initially made for Arri. Shortened it at the rear and added an altered C-mount adapter for Fujifilm X-E1.
Front was nearly perfect, but I had to widen the aperture for nearly 0,8mm. Now the projection lenses slip in nicely. No screws for fastening them, as there is the double-helix in the body. But with a tiny piece of thin paper, the lenses stay safe inside. Maybe not that elegant, but it works.
Still have to blacken the mount at the rear. The small things left to do almost take the longest time to get done.

Here are a few pics with the Visionar

and with the Cinerectim (dreamy and soft, maybe to soft)

Well you did, hence why I split it off... Twisted Evil

Maybe you are the only one who has such Astro Makro Tachar parts laying around.
My solution shows one based on commonly available parts and THAT was the idea Wink

Nice results, as expected and not surprising using that excellent Visionar lens.

Holy Grail! An Astro Macro Gauss Tachar (...even a wrecked one...) used as donor...!

The lens itself was an absolut hopeless wreck, so I removed it (years ago).
So no harm was done to a rare thing.

VISIONAR 71mm + 77mm are from about the focal length such solutions work. Shorter ones are tricky
