Congrats, mmelvis, like both of these. Doing your own developing is a lot
of fun. I still get a rush when I pull the film off the spool after developing. |

Way to start, right at the beginning Now you only have the dull downward spiral of history to look forward to... Seriously nice box camera wielding and first time developing. _________________ -Jussi

really like these especially the way the helmet and tank highlights have been captured. Did I read it correctly that you used a camera from 1912 or so? Would like to see a pic of it as well. _________________

Lookin good for a first time go at it.
Tell me, is that an optional seat for the Thruxton? I've only seen them wth the cafe-style seats.
Also, I note that you used the HP G4050 scanner. Congrats on the scan quality. I bought one of those, struggled with getting sharp image out of it and failed, and took it back. Bought a lightly used Epson 4990 instead, which I've been most pleased with.
Got any more pics? Especially of the bike? _________________ Michael

The seat just has a plastic cover that goes over the back half of the seat to give the cafe racer hump.
The scanner, HP G4050 scanner, was $80 from e*bay site. Guess I got lucky with this one.

Had to work out for a few weeks just to get to a point where I could ride the bike. No problem now doing 300-400 mile rides. |
