I have a preset Biotar in M42 mount, serial no 3705047 that I would like to clean and relube.
It does not have a limiter screw, and I don't know where to start with to take the lens apart.
I've seen some info on the web, such as this drawing:
http://rick_oleson.tripod.com/index-81.html
But so far I did not really dare to start somewhere.
I did unscrew the nameplate, which gives access to take out the front elements to are in front of the aperture.
Anyone any experience with this specific lens?
The rear element has a slotted ring, but turning that feels very stiff and the drawing in the link above describes that it has no thread, so you shouldn't use it. EDIT: I was looking at the drawing for auto diaphragm lenses. There is a drawing of preset lenses below, still I don't know where to start using that drawing.. _________________ DSLR: Canon 6D, Canon 400D
